Sportime's DuelSafer Swords add color and excitement to your lead-up fencing programs. The surface finish of our swords is smooth in order to avoid the skin abrasion that might occur from contact with the rough surface of uncoated, polyethylene foam. Smooth though it might be, we built the DuelSafer Sword s 24-1/2" L x 1-1/2"W (62.2cm x 3.8cm) blade using the same material and manufacturing process as we employ with our world-famous BonkerBall Bats. The blade is semi-supported by an internal rod, in a manner that allows its 4" x 1" (10.2cm x 2.5cm) unsupported tip to safely flex. The 4"L (10.2cm) grip of a DuelSafer Sword is padded with the same foam rubber as the blade. Its user-friendly, non-slip surface and 2"W (5.1cm) hand and butt rings keep the fencer s hand in place. Activity guide is included. 32-1/2"L (82.6cm). Goggles and foam ear protectors sold separately.
