A rectangular kang table which would have traditionally been used on a kang platform-to serve food and eat from, work from or to hold items. This antique Chinese kang table's apron has molding resembling bamboo. The leg stretchers are humpbacked with two vertical attaching pieces. The legs are rounded and the finish is medium brown.
Today kang tables make an excellent platform for a vase and other objects of art.
